My Story

On May 22, 2007 my wife developed a blood clot in her brain and had a stroke while behind the wheel of her car. Miraculously, she drifted through an intersection without being hit and had a low speed collision with parked cars. Thanks to the efforts of a quick thinking neighbor we were able to rush her to the hospital only a few short blocks away.

My wife spent 3 weeks in the hospital followed by our painful journey of physical rehabilitation and speech therapy. I was forced to put my business on hold because I was my wife’s primary caregiver for several months.

Despite the obvious hardship we still consider ourselves extremely fortunate because without the supplemental insurance we had, an extremely difficult situation would have been even more devastating then it has been.
